01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

From the rushed morning commute to an evening drink, PRONTO - Kanda accommodates visits across the day. The morning lineup includes a simple toast set, a savoury ham-and-cheese toast set, and an Asagopan set that lets diners pick their preferred bread, paired with hot coffee for an easy start. Come lunchtime, plates of fresh pasta like melted mozzarella in tomato sauce and Japanese-style carbonara offer a quick, satisfying midday meal.

During afternoon café hours, sweet options like the firm classic custard pudding and the rich Uji matcha Basque cheesecake make for a welcome break. Alongside standard blended coffee and café lattes, there is a broad selection of teas served by the pot as well as fruit teas, suiting shopping pauses or casual meetups.

Once 17:00 passes, the venue transitions into kissakaba service, turning into an approachable tavern space for an after-work stop. Diners gather over The Premium Malt's Kaoru Ale or mega-sized Kaku highballs alongside easy sharing plates: playful octopus-cut cocktail sausages, shrimp ajillo, and crispy margherita pizza. The meal can be anchored with kissakaba Neapolitan spaghetti—available in red or white styles—offering the comforting character of retro café cooking.

Laid out across the 1st and 2nd floors, the branch offers plenty of seating along with Wi-Fi, and the 2nd floor includes dedicated seats for heated tobacco products. Positioned right by Kanda Station, it serves well for solo computer tasks, killing spare time, or gathering with a group for drinks.
